Good to know
JPG and WebP quality settings trade some visual detail for a smaller file. PNG export is lossless, so its quality slider does not reduce the colour palette. For photographic PNGs, try WebP or JPG. Results depend on the image; an already-optimised file may not become smaller.

Does compression always reduce the file size?+
No. When the output format is unchanged and the new file is larger, this compressor keeps your original. Converting to another format can also increase size.
Will my images leave my browser?+
The compressor reads and processes selected files on your device. It does not upload them. Downloaded results are saved only when you choose to save them.
