How to use convert images
- Select one or more images your browser can decode.
- Choose the output format and background colour for JPG or BMP.
- Convert and download your files.
Good to know
JPG, PNG and WebP are the main export formats; BMP export is also included. AVIF export appears only if your browser actually supports encoding it. AVIF, GIF, BMP and safe SVG inputs depend on browser decoding. Animated inputs become a single still frame. HEIC, TIFF, RAW and animation-preserving conversion are not supported in this release.
A few useful answers
Why is AVIF not always an output option?+
Reading AVIF does not guarantee that a browser can write it. The tool tests the encoder and enables AVIF only when it returns a real AVIF file.
What happens to transparent areas in a JPG?+
JPG has no transparency. The tool fills transparent pixels with your selected background colour. PNG and WebP can preserve transparency.
