Good to know
The package includes an ICO with uncompressed 32-bit 16, 32 and 48-pixel images, PNG icons at six sizes, a basic web manifest and an HTML installation snippet. Contain preserves the full image with transparent padding; cover fills the square and crops the edges.

Which source image works best?+
Use a simple square logo at least 512 by 512 pixels. Complex details become hard to see at small favicon sizes.
Does the manifest make my website an installable app?+
No. It supplies basic icon and name data only. Review the manifest and your website requirements before using it.
